Driver will deliver, pick-up, load, unload pelletized products while maintaining all necessary paperwork on
assigned route within advised timelines while safe driving and complying with company
policies including SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food and report any potential food
safety problems to those with authority to act.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate safe driving skills
• Compliance with maintaining valid Class B license
• Coordinate with kitchen employees to load the product racks that need to be cooked
• Deliver product by identifying destinations and adhering to planned routing
• Maintains delivery and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking
information and completing driver logs
• Insert temperature probes ensuring temperature
• Maintain product quality by ensuring the truck temperature and maintenance when unloading or loading
product
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
• Report accidents, injuries and damage to equipment or product immediately
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other tasks as assigned from supervisor
